Where are you located? [Top]
We are located in Waterloo, ON - 1 h away from the Toronto International Airport, and just a 1.5 h drive from the Niagara Falls border.   This link takes you to an interactive map which will give you a good idea of the distance you will need to travel to get here.

How many Goldendoodle pups do you expect to be in this litter? [Top]
We expect our litter to be anywhere between 9-12 puppies.  In general you can tell how many puppies a female will have based on the number of puppies her mother had.

Can I choose my own puppy? [Top]
Priority is given to those who were on our waiting list first, we will select puppies based on buyer's requirements.  If you live locally you may come and select your own pup, we welcome visitors.

Do your dogs shed? [Top]
It is impossible to guarantee that our pups will not shed, however in general Goldendoodles are light to non shedding.

How big will they get? [Top]
Height: Males 21-24 inches (54-62 cm.) Females 20-22½ inches 51-58 cm.)
Weight: Males 55-75 pounds (25-34 kg.) Females 45-65 pounds (21-29 kg.)

Are Goldendoodles good with children? [Top]
Goldendoodles are some of the gentlest dogs that I know.  Our pups will be well socialized as they are raised in our home and will have constant attention throughout the day.  We have two children who will (under supervision) handle the pups and get them used to smaller people.

How can I get my puppy across the border back into the US? [Top]
Visit this link for helpful information:

There you can do a search on "Pets"

Do you ship your pups? [Top]
Our primary concern is the well-being of the puppies, so factors such as weather/climate, flight duration, availability of direct flights, etc. will determine our ability to ship.  All shipping costs are extra and vary according to the distance the puppy will need to travel.

Can we come and visit? [Top]
We welcome visitors, however since we don't always have puppies you may only have the opportunity to meet our girls.

How are you different from a traditional kennel? [Top]
Our pups are born in our home and  are raised by our entire family.  Because of all of the personal attention and interaction, our pups are very well socialized by the time they go to their new homes at 7 weeks of age.

As well, we believe in treating the parent dogs with as much love and respect as their puppies will receive, so they are never left in kennels at any time.

Why do you require a deposit to be added to reserve a pup? [Top]
Requiring our customers to provide a deposit ensures they are committed to adopting a Goldendoodle from Longleash and have done all their research before signing up.  We strongly encourage those who are looking to add a Goldendoodle to their family to thoroughly research the breed and make sure that they are comfortable with their decision.
Your refund will be returned if we cannot provide you with a pup from the litter you have been waiting for.  We limit the number of reservations per litter to 10 qualified applicants.  If there are more puppies born than expected we will make sure to advertise on our website and find suitable families for the puppies at that time.
If you have any hesitations or questions about Longleash and our policies please email us and we will do our best to help you with your decision.
